The surface should be clean, free of oil, and slightly etched to allow the glue to bind effectively. While not a replacement for welding on metal, the 2P-10 glues are highly effective for tacking and temporarily holding pieces in place.
FastCap's 2P-10 adhesives come in a medium viscosity formula similar in thickness to motor oil, making them ideal for filling medium-sized cracks and gaps. These super glues can be used on a diverse range of materials including wood, glass, metal, stone, tiles, MDF, chipboard, and ceramic.
For high-performance bonding, FastCap offers an industrial-grade, two-part super glue with a motor oil-like consistency. This adhesive is designed to deeply infiltrate and stabilize porous or absorbent materials through capillary action, resulting in a clear, durable bond.
The easy-to-use 2P-10 system allows for quick and efficient project assembly. After cleaning the surfaces, simply apply the adhesive to one surface and spray the activator on the other. This method allows for 2-4 seconds of alignment time, 10 seconds of setting, and a full cure in 30 seconds.
If more alignment time is needed, the adhesive can be used without the activator, setting in 10-20 seconds and curing in 5 minutes.
